"Jazz and Models" by photographer Marco Glaviano is now on exhibit at NEST. The range of 26 images shows Marco's work from the 1970s to today. He is a true artist and is known as the original supermodel photographer, influencing how models Paulina Porizkova, Eva Herzigova, Cindy Crawford and Stephanie Seymour developed into supermodel status. You'll see these models and others in the exhibit, plus another one of Marco's passions, jazz music and musicians, with photographs of legends Chet Baker, Sonny Rollins and Dizzy Gillespie.
Marco has made such a profound impact on the world of fashion photography and has been published in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle and Vanity Fair. As a pioneer in digital photography, it was one of his photographs that became the first digital picture ever to be published in Vogue in 1982. He has exhibited his works in solo exhibitions in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Milan, Palermo and Capri, and now, in Miami at NEST. His artwork is part of many important private collections worldwide.
