Sara Colombo

Nest Casa founder Sara Colombo has been a purveyor of modern European design and decor for over a decade. Her exceptional eye for highly curated finds is a testament to her passions and beliefs—that unique designs made with quality materials and craftsmanship can elevate the spaces we live in every day.

Sara first discovered her love for interiors while working in fashion. She was living between Paris and London and traveling the world for photo shoots in stunning locations, and she became captivated by the European homes in the backdrops that were always thoughtfully decorated to every last detail. She found a kindred spirit when she met her husband, Ugo Colombo, whose appreciation for European design was evident in his work. As a renowned Miami developer, he insisted on outfitting his interiors with finely crafted decor made by skilled artisans in Italy. Sara eventually looked to these same craftsmen when designing their home together, working closely with weavers, glassmakers, and other artisans who are masters at their craft. Their devotion to techniques passed down through generations, and at the heart of it all family, became the foundation for Nest Casa.
